Okay, first books and now chocolate.

Although the first episode was only a couple of minutes long, I found myself really intrigued feeling odd. The start was brilliant, how it made me wonder what the hell was going on and especially when the dude destroyed the chocolate bar with all the dramatic effects – I had to rofl. Seriously. I can’t believe they even shoved in a Transformers thing, I mean, helicopters and guns over chocolate I can handle, but a robot as well? AND A HEALTHY COOKIE?! What. The. Hell. That’s just going waaaaay over the line. No one messes with cookies until they get pass me, and although I don’t really like cookies and I’ve never baked them, I reward you with cookies if you join this blog, so there! The people even went as far as to destroying a building just to get rid of a nice block of delicious chocolate.
Actually, seeing the chocolate was a turn-off because I hate chocolate (they’re okay, but I can only have a nibble or else I’ll die). But in all honesty, the characters are pretty decent, the pictures may not be fantastic, but they pass, the voice-overs ain’t that bad either, and thankfully, Chocolate Underground has some humour to it. Okay, so maybe I didn’t get all the humour and you could totally see the “digusting cookie” reaction coming and the cat screeching. The bloody advertisment was so ridiculously annoying, and the tv wouldn’t even turn off — that was pretty lame stuff too. The ending was just bleh, but you can survive watching those little videos for the ED theme since it wasn’t that long. This series would be easy to follow, of course, since it won’t take that long to download and watch and you can even eat a chocolate bar while watching an episode, but it depends how far this anime will be able to keep you interested I suppose.
